I haven't had any problems with American Homeshield. When I need something looked at or fixed, I send in the request and within a few minutes I get a response and the name of the company that will be sent to my house. A one-time fee and we are good to go. Have not had a problem yet.

I will be the first to say, I was very hesitant to get this coverage. Our home is 18 years old and we have all the original appliances. My first claim was for our gas cooktop. The claim process was painless. I entered my information online, paid my service fee, appointment was scheduled and the technician arrived. My cooktop needed several parts so AHS determined it was best to replace it. I had options on replacement process and opted for the Lowe's gift card. I ordered the cooktop that fit our needs, had it installed and now we are cooking again. I am very pleased with the service and process!
